Keeping companies up to date, ensuring competitiveness and actively shaping the transformation for change have always been my driving forces as a manager. That's why I personally see change as an opportunity and rarely as a risk.
I worked for many years in executive management of technology-driven SMEs in the DACH region and got to know all facets of corporate management. Even under difficult conditions, I have to carry out reorganization, excellence and innovation measures in order to realign companies and organizational units and make them future-proof.
My motivation to work as a consultant and interim manager today was to pass on this many years of practical experience and make it usable for other companies.
Leadership in change
Changes often represent a major challenge for companies, their organization and their employees. Managers are particularly under particular pressure here. As the spearhead in the company, you are responsible for the introduction and effectiveness of the changes and at the same time you have to prove and justify yourself to your employees but also to shareholders and owners. This has a lot of potential for conflict.
Often an almost unsolvable balancing act, especially when the need for change and reorganization is already well advanced and unpleasant personnel decisions have to be made. This can put a lasting strain on and damage the collaboration between managers and their employees.
Here it makes sense to bring interim managers and consultants with a focus on change, crisis management or business or IT transformation on board.
I am one of them. We have the experience and skill set to initiate and carry out such change processes parallel to day-to-day business and to familiarize managers and employees with the new technologies, working methods and requirements without overloading the organization.
